Pablo V Mendoza

I started my career in the corporate sector, having studied IT and an MBA. I worked as an IT and business consultant for many years but then decided that my purpose lay elsewhere. After going on my own therapy journey and coming to terms with my neurodiversity, I eventually decided to follow a very different career path and retrained as a psychotherapist and EMDR practitioner myself.

I am deeply passionate about supporting professionals in managing work stress, nurturing strong healthy boundaries and better communication as in my experience this is a common issue in the corporate world.

I specialise in neurodivergence, trauma therapy, attachment injury as well as anxiety and depression.

Over the past few years, I have also been complementing my traditional psychotherapy training with more body-centred practices such as therapeutic and functional breathwork and myofascial release therapy. I believe that somatic interventions can support talking therapy and may help to heal more deeply held trauma.

Training & accreditation

My training includes a foundation in person-centred psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute in London (2012), a PGDip in Integrative psychotherapy and counselling from the University of Leeds (2017) and a couple of semesters in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy at Bolton university(2018). I also trained with Babette Rothschild in somatic trauma therapy (2017) which gave me further tools to support clients with complex PTSD as well as adverse childhood experiences and abuse.

I have been working as a psychotherapist since 2016, including over two years part-time as an NHS IAPT therapist.

I became a BACP-accredited psychotherapist in 2018 and an EMDR practitioner in 2020.
